Part IV, Chapter 1
§1. Introductory Provisions
A. The Ethical Infractions chapter governs the definitions and penalties associated with ethical infractions.
B. The Ethics Committee and the Military Police shall have the power and responsibility of charging guilty individuals with ethical infractions.
C. Abusing loopholes or technicalities to escape punishment for conduct reasonably assumed to be disallowed is prohibited.
D. All infractions under this chapter must be reported within 7-days to be investigated and punished.
E. Ethical infractions can only be excused by the O5 Council and Founders before the act. Pardons after the fact require a majority of the O5 Council or Founders.
F. Anyone who commits an ethical infraction can be subject to criminal prosecution regardless of their state of mind during the commission of the unlawful act, at the discretion of the Ethics Committee.
§2. Disorderly Conduct
A. DRESS CODE VIOLATIONS: Anyone who violates the Foundation Dress Code and refuses to change.
B. VANDALISM: Anyone who damages or destroys Foundation property without a lawful excuse.
C. DISTURBING THE PEACE: Anyone who engages in verbal action that is disruptive, offensive, or harassing behavior.
First offense - warning to 2-day suspension.
Second offense - 1 to 2-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 1 to 4-day suspension.
§3. Insubordination
Anyone who fails to comply with the valid order of an authority dictated in Part II, Chapter 1 is guilty of insubordination.
First offense - warning to 2-day suspension.
Second offense - 1 to 2-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 1 to 4-day suspension.
§4. Trespassing
Facility access is dictated by Part III, Chapter 2. Anyone who enters areas restricted to them or areas requiring escort without one is guilty of trespassing.
First offense - warning to 1-day suspension.
Second offense - 1 to 2-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 1 to 3-day suspension.
§5. Rogue Misconduct
Anyone who maliciously acts or intends to cause significant interruption to the facility and its personnel, typically through mass crime or a spree of separate crimes, is guilty of rogue misconduct.
First offense - 14-day suspension
Second offense - 21-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 30-day suspension.
§6. Solicitation
Anyone who requests or encourages another to commit a violation, resulting in the violation occurring, is guilty of solicitation.
§7. Obstruction of Operations
A. IMPEDING AN EVENT OR DUTY: Anyone who disrupts or prevents facility operations, events, or emergency response.
B. BREACHING CONTAINMENT: Anyone who attempts or succeeds in provoking an SCP or outright breaching its containment.
C. AIDING FOUNDATION ENEMIES: Anyone who attempts or succeeds in aiding hostile outsiders or rioting Class-Ds, such as by providing weapons, SCPs, or granting access to unauthorized areas.
First offense - warning to 2-day suspension
Second offense - 1-day to 4-day suspension
Third offense and above - 2-day to 7-day suspension.
§8. Obstruction of Roadways
Any pedestrian who impedes vehicles by standing or walking on roads, placing objects on roads, or running in front of vehicles is guilty of obstruction of roadways.
First offense - warning to 1-day suspension
Second offense - 1-day to 2-day suspension
Third offense and above - 2-day to 4-day suspension.
§9. Theft
Anyone who obtains an item not granted by their department team, clearance, or a gamepass is guilty of theft.
First offense - warning to 2-day suspension
Second offense - 1-day to 4-day suspension
Third offense and above - 2-day to 7-day suspension.
§10. Misuse of Firearms
Anyone who handles firearms contrary to Part III, Chapter 4 is guilty of misuse of firearms.
First offense - warning to 2-day suspension
Second offense - 1 to 3-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 1 to 7-day suspension.
§11. Misuse of Anomalies
Anyone who misuses an item SCP in a manner not permitted in Part III, Chapter 3 is guilty of misuse of anomalies.
First offense - warning to 2-day suspension
Second offense - 1 to 3-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 1 to 7-day suspension.
§12. Misuse of Equipment
A. MISUSE OF RADIO: Anyone who persistently uses the radio without reason.
B. MISUSE OF PLACEABLES: Anyone who places placeables in an obnoxious, disruptive, or repeated manner without reason.
C. MISUSE OF THROWABLES: Anyone who deploys throwables without reason.
First offense - warning to 1-day suspension
Second offense - 1 to 2-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 2 to 5-day suspension.
§13. Battery
Anyone who inflicts damage to another person outside of self-defense dictated by Part III, Chapter 4 is guilty of battery.
First offense - 1-day to 2-day suspension
Second offense - 1 to 4-day suspension.
Third offense and above - 2 to 7-day suspension.
§14. Murder
Anyone who kills another outside of self-defense dictated by Part III, Chapter 4 is guilty of murder.
First offense - 2 to 3-day suspension
Second offense - 2 to 5-day suspension
Third offense and above - 3 to 7-day suspension.
§15. Evasion
Anyone who flees combatives or enforcement personnel's valid detainment or an order to stop, on foot, in a vehicle, or by leaving the game is guilty of evasion.
Evasion is penalized accordingly:
First offense - 1-day suspension
Second offense - 3-day suspension
Third offense and above - 5-day suspension.
