Chemical Usage
§1. Purpose & Scope
A. This chapter governs the usage of chemicals, the laboratories, and the storage areas. The Chemical Usage chapter is relevant to combative and scientific personnel.
§2. Chemical Usage
A. Only authorized personnel with [] are permitted entry into the science labs and chemical storage areas.
i. Those marked with "Carry" permissions may enter the storage area to grab chemicals.
ii. Those marked with "Carry" permissions are forbidden from touching any lab equipment other than the chemical cabinet.
B. All chemicals must be stored and remain inside the Scientific Department Laboratory.
i. Those marked with "Carry" permissions may take chemicals outside of the laboratory, subject to their own department's internal regulations.
C. Detailed reports must be kept on each chemical and its effects, purpose, and composition after any experiment is performed.
§3. Chemical Permissions
A. The Scientific Department is responsible for the upkeep of chemical permissions and usage per the Chemical Permissions document.
i. Permissions regarding the document are only amended by the O5 Council and the Ethics Committee.
B. Scientific personnel may utilize any chemical under the correct circumstances.
i. Scientific personnel must follow the above regulations and their department's internal regulations while performing official duties.
ii. Scientific personnel may get chemicals and use them on combative if requested.
Definitions
For the purpose of this section:
A. "Test" shall means groups listed may utilize the chemical in an official test.
B. "Modify" shall mean groups listed may combine the chemical with another.
C. "Carry" shall means groups listed may hold the chemical in a bottle or test tube.
D. "Use On Personnel" shall mean groups listed may spray the chemical on personnel (excluding Class-D) outside of tests.
E. "Use On SCPs" shall mean groups listed may spray the chemical on sentient anomalies outside of tests.
F. "Spray In Air" shall mean groups listed may spray the chemical in the air.
G. "N/A" shall mean no groups have this permission for a chemical.
H. "Department Tag" shall mean department wide permissions extended to all members of the department.
